Syd Mogg is an Agriculturist with over 39 years of extensive local and international experience. He joined the Jamaica Broilers Group (JBG) in 1991 and is currently the Vice-President of JBG’s United States subsidiary Wincorp International Inc.
Mr. Mogg has played an integral role in the successful acquisition and operations of four companies in the United States. He has direct responsibilities for the efficient management of the team entrusted to produce and support the growing, producing and sales of broiler breeders, fertile eggs and the formulation and manufacture of feed for baby chicks. Mr. Mogg has developed strategic relationships with key industry players and regulatory agencies within the USA and the over twenty trading partner countries of Wincorp.
He is a coach and mentor, with a unique ability to identify key talent that will commit to a culture of quality and service. An international cattle and livestock judge, Mr. Mogg holds a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science in Agriculture from the University of Florida, Gainesville, Florida. Syd Mogg is married to a very supporting wife Dr. Shirley Mogg and they are proud parents and grandparents.
