Lennox Channer joined the Group in 2016 as Vice President of Accounting and was later appointed to his current position as Vice President – Accounting & Administration with added responsibility for the Human Resource function. Between 2018 and 2022, he served as Chairman of the National Housing Trust (NHT) where he maintained the sound governance and structure of one of Jamaica’s most prized and scrutinized institutions. He has also served as a member on JAMPRO’s Finance and Procurement Sub-Committee.
He has served in senior management positions at NCB, Digicel and Caribbean Bottlers (Jamaica) Limited and is a Fellow of both the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants and the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Jamaica.
Lennox holds a Master of Science in Decision and Information Sciences from the University of Florida (Fulbright Scholar 2002) and a Bachelor of Science in Actuarial Sciences from the University of the West Indies. He is a past student of Munro College and his interests include watching sports, exercising, reading and cryptic crosswords.
He is married to Shelee and together they have two lovely daughters: Kyra-Jade and Maya-Paige. His philosophy is “I will win; if I cannot win, I shall be second; if I cannot be second, I shall be third; if I cannot place at all, I shall still do my best.”
