
Poultry provider, Jamaica Broilers Group (JBG) delivered a solid financial performance for its year ending April 2024, despite a challenging global economic environment, posting $6.1 billion in net profits, a 13 per cent improvement on the prior year.
Revenues stood at $93 billion, reflecting a two per cent increase compared to the previous year. This growth was driven by strong performances across its key operations in Jamaica and the United States, showcasing the company’s resilience and adaptability in the face of macroeconomic pressures, including global inflation and ongoing geopolitical tensions.
