As President and CEO of one of the most advanced and diversified poultry operations in any developing nation today, Christopher Levy is a respected and astute Jamaican corporate leader. With over 25 years of senior management experience garnered through working at varying levels of the Jamaica Broilers Group operations, including managing several divisions, he is versed in every aspect of the poultry industry. Under his leadership, the Group has grown organically and exponentially, both locally and overseas, ensuring the long term viability of the organization. He is to be lauded for maintaining a passion for nation-building through his support of initiatives geared towards education, sports, community development and social empowerment.
He has served as a director at the Rural Agricultural Development Authority (RADA), the Jamaica Manufacturers Association and the Postal Corporation of Jamaica and has also dedicated much of his time to serving his alma mater as First Vice President of the Munro College Old Boys’ Association. He currently serves as a director of the Jamaica Broilers Group Foundation; Caribbean Poultry Association; Swallowfield Chapel Outreach Foundation; Moorlands Camp Limited; Stony Brooke University, NY USA; and Global Orphan Project, Haiti. He is also a member of the Council of the Private Sector Organization of Jamaica.
As a follower of Christ, Chris Levy attributes his personal success and that of the Group to an abiding trust and faith in the Lord’s guidance. He is married to Sarah Levy and together they have three wonderful children, Josephine, Austin and Morgan.
Christopher Levy holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Management from the University of Miami, USA as well as a Master in Business Administration from Regent University in Virginia Beach, USA. He has also successfully completed the Executive Management Programme at Harvard Business School.
