Preparations are well under way for the 10th annual staging of the Best Dressed Fun in the Son gospel festival at National Heroes Circle in St Andrew come tomorrow.

The concert, set to begin at 4:00 pm, will be headlined by Kirk Franklin with performances by Simply Chrysolite, New Creation Group, DJ Nicholas, Goddy Goddy, Junior Tucker, Carlene Davis, Papa San, Rondell Positive, Deneese Wright and the On the Shout band.

According to the organisers, screens will be positioned throughout the National Heroes Park to ensure that patrons will be able to see the performances from any position in the venue.

Among the activities are: Kiddies' Village, where children will be entertained with a puppet show; storytelling; hand and face painting.

Prior to the concert, visiting stuntmen are set to perform gravity-defying stunts on bikes and skateboards. There will also be heritage tours featuring actors depicting the national heroes, followed by a cultural showcase, with Winston 'Bello' Bell and Leonie Forbes.

The festival closes at 10:00 pm.
